Akhnif  are handwoven rugs by the Akhnif tribe that inhabit the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Using natural dyes to create colourful geometric designs representing the surrounding mountains. The wool comes from the villager’s sheep who carefully pick it for its high quality. The rug’s colours depend on the natural colour of the sourced wool. Each rug has its own unique geometric shapes and colours, going from triangle to diamonds and stripes, they are all influenced by the Berber culture
